Oral Pathology
Changes to the hard or soft tissue in the mouth can occur on the lips, cheeks, palate, and gum tissue around the teeth, tongue, face, and/or neck. These changes can be accompanied by changes in color and/or surface texture. Pain, burning, etc. may or may not be present. Dr. Flynn routinely performs an evaluation of the oral tissues during an initial visit. Suspicious lumps or sores should not be ignored. When warranted, a biopsy can be performed to determine the cause of these tissue changes.
